  • The Four Noble Truths

According to CNN, the Four Noble Truths of Buddhism are
    1) existence is suffering,
    2) the cause of suffering is craving and attachment,
    3) suffering ceases at some point and turns to Nirvana (liberation or total bliss), and
    4) there is a path to Nirvana which is made up of eight steps, sometimes called the Eightfold Path.

How do these four truths help us reach total bliss in this life?

As I understand it, if you attain nirvana, you stop being reborn.

Just want to point out that suffering doesn't just "cease". It takes a lot of work.
